MRO Reports Two Huge Reunion Bay Wells -- November 27, 2018

US crude oil inventory -- API data:
  • US crude oil: a build of 3.453 million bbls -- let's see what the EIA reports tomorrow
    • analysts' forecast: a build of well less than one million bbls (actual forecast: a build of only 769,000 bbls)
    • last week the API reported a draw, after six weeks of straight builds as reported by the API
    • a day later, the EIA reported a build of an incredible 5 million bbls -- the tenth straight week of inventory builds for US crude oil
  • gasoline? a different story:
    • analysts predicted a build of 640,000 bbls for the week
    • actual: a draw of 2.62 million bbls

Three new permits:
  • Operators: Whiting (2); XTO
  • Fields: Foreman Butte (McKenzie); Lost Bridge (Dunn County)
  • Comments: Whiting has permits for a 2-well Link pad in section 10-150-102;
Three producing wells (DUCs) reported as completed:
  • 33979, 161, BR, Kermit 4-8-32MBH, Pershing, t8/18; cum 4K after 24 days;
  • 33941, 6,943, MRO, Rue USA 44-19TFH, Reunion Bay, t10/18; cum 22K after two days;
  • 33943, 6,396, MRO, Sibyl USA 44-19TFH, Reunion Bay, t9/18; cum 29K after 10 days;
Obviously, we really can't do this but 21,578bbls after two days (#33941) extrapolates to 323,670 bbls in 30 days. LOL. But Lynn Helms always said the TFH wells might be better than a middle Bakken well at the same site. Record IPs in the Bakken are tracked here.
