Finally! Three DUCs Reported As Completed -- July 4, 2018

Data from yesterday and today. I took the day off yesterday.

API, US weekly crude oil reserves, link here or here: US crude oil reserves are down another 4.5 million bbls (after being down 9.22 million bbls the previous weeks. Price of WTI surges? Nope, WTI actually decreases slightly on this news.

Five new permits (July 3, 2018):
  • Operator: Hess
  • Field: Antelope (McKenzie)
  • Comments: Hess has permits for a 5-well AN-Bohmbach pad in SESW 22-153-94
Nine wells came off the confidential list:
  • BR had seven Cleetwood permits in Elidah oil field go PNC.
  • the other two wells, a Petro-Hunt well and an MRO well were reported yesterday
Thirteen permits renewed:
  • SHD Oil (7): a Zeta, Poseidon, Narcissus, Cheetah, Demeter, Delta, and Epsilon permit were each renewed in McLean County
  • CLR (4): four Steele Federal permits were renewed in McKenzie County
  • BR (2): two Patton permits were renewed in McKenzie County
  • Seven permits were canceled:
  • BR, as noted above, canceled seven Cleetwood permits in McKenzie County
And how about this!? Three DUCs were reported as completed; the first in a long time:
