Making America greater than ever before: US transparency reversal stings Canadian, European oil firms. From Rigzone:
  • Senate, Friday: passed a resolution to overturn the "resource extraction rule," an Obama administration regulation that required companies to disclose taxes and other payments to foreign governments
  • President Trump expected to soon sign the resolution killing the rule
  • the rule was among a handful of regulations ushered in during the final months of Obama's presidency
  • overturning the regulation leaves the Canadian and European natural resource companies with far more stringent reporting standards for payments to foreign governments than US behemoths like Exxon Mobil and Chevron
  • could provide American companies a glimpse of their rivals' negotiating tactics around the globe, without having to tip their hands in return
Much more at the link.

So much could be said; there are so many story lines here; just best to move on. But again, President Trump working at making American greater than ever before.

Again, much more at the link. Making American greater than ever before.

By the way, there was another pipeline along the southern border approved; if I find the story again, I will post it. Yes, here it is, over at Twitter:
