30-second sound bite: oil steadied; ended its free fall, back above $97. Traders got their sanity back and bid many operators back up to new highs..

***************************

KOG is in a new trading range, between $13 and $14.

HK is also in a trading range, up slightly today.

Oasis is in a trading range, down slightly today.

WLL was up slightly today, trading at a new 52-week high.

CLR is in a trading range; down slightly today.

CVX, COP, XOM: COP hits a new high. The other two in a trading range.

EOG: traders recovered their sanity regarding EOG. Up nicely today after recent sell-off. Still above $180.

CHK was up slightly, trading almost to a new high. Incredible.

SD was down over 2% today; struggling.

AMZG has had some big moves; appears to be in a trading range between $2.00 and $2.15.

TPLM was down today; it looks like it might have opened near its 52-week high, but dropped after that.

UNP is in its trading range well below its 52-week high. Down today.

I don't follow BNSF (BRK) much any more; BRK follows the market in general.

ENB, EEP are both in a trading range, well below their highs.

SRE: wow, wow, wow -- I haven't paid attention to SRE lately; it is now trading at a new high, well over $90.

TransCanada iss up slightly; well below its high.

SLB: still trading near its 52-week high; up slightly today.
