Eleven (11) New Permits -- The Williston Basin, North Dakota, USA

Eleven (11) new permits -- 
  • Operators: Hess (7), Zargon, Legacy, Crescent Point, EOG
  • Fields: North Souris (Bottineau), Dublin (Williams), Parshall (Mountrail), Blue Buttes (McKenzie), Antelope (McKenzie), Mackobee Coulee (Renville)
  • Comments: Hess with permits for three wells in Blue Buttes; and, four wells in Antelope oil field
Wells coming off the confidential list were reported earlier; see sidebar at the right.

One producing well completed:
  • 21979, 338, CLR, Alpha 3-14H, 4-section spacing, Camp, t1/13; cum --

      The information for 10 spacing units with 12 wells each is quite amazing, isn't it?

      That was in the February, 2013, dockets:
      19694, Corinthian, create 7 320-acre units; 12 wells on each 320-acre unit; Bottineau
      19695, Corinthian, extend North Souris and/or Red Rock-Spearfish; create 3 320-acre units; 12 wells on each 320-acre unit; Bottineau

      I am really eager to see them start drilling these wells at the density they have requested.
