Random Photos of Williston, Little Muddy River -- From East of Williston -- Bakken, North Dakota, USA

Today was another beautiful day in Williston. I get a kick out of the folks who think North Dakota is arctic tundra. God's country.

Remember, these pictures can be enlarged; one can zoom in on Williston in the distance: click on the photos to open them in another window and zoom in.

  2. Thank you. I'm fortunate enough to be here at the best time of the year.

If you can enlarge/zoom in on the photos, they really show some nice shots of Williston. It's easy, even for long-term residents, to forget how pretty this area is.

I am surprised that with all the activity, the area still retains its natural beauty. The roads are busy, but not always busy, and there is plenty of time for folks to get out and see the countryside. Just watch your rearview mirror for trucks barreling down on you; then pull off to the side at the next safe place to do so. Be sure to signal and don't slow down in the path of truck.
