The 800-Pound Gorilla

I find this interesting.

In any in-depth discussion on television (and these in-depth discussions are rare on television) and in any in-depth article in print media regarding the state of the economy, the common thread is the Frank-Dodd bill. Even ObamaCare does not come up in these discussions very often.

  2. Browsing the reports at the link anon gave it looks like a big collection of "rent seekers" who believe in the "Al Gore science" view that CO2 is a bad thing!

Also, I had to look up the Frank-Dodd bill to refresh my memory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodd%E2%80%93Frank_Wall_Street_Reform_and_Consumer_Protection_Act

  3. I had not finished my "800-Pound Gorilla posting, and forgot that I left it there! Smile.

I need to go back and finish my thoughts, although maybe leave it as is.

  4. We must be looking at different links: unless I misread the gist of the National Petroleum Council report, it seemed to confirm what we know about energy resources in this country. Huge.

The references to CO2 are political, and politically correct, and that's all. It is what it is, unfortunately.
