Temporary Spacing, Which Operator Will Drill In a Spacing Unit -- NDIC's New 1280-Acre Spacing Units -- Bakken, North Dakota, USA

Nice discussion regarding "temporary spacing units" in the Bakken, the NDIC's "new" 1280-acre spacign units and which operator is likely to drill on a unit. For newbies, the authority at the linked site is "Teegue." Period. Dot.

  1. Thanks for including this in your topics. I was the original author of this post on Bakken Shale Discussion and it was suprising to me that the company I was expecting to drill is most likely not the company that will be doing the drilling. At this point, I have learned with all the inside dealings among the various operators in a Section, it is somewhat of a guessing game as to which one will actually drill the well.

  2. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

The Teegue Bakekn Shale Discussion Group has been a most important source for figuring out the Bakken and the North Dakota oil industry.

I am impressed with all the information folks have shared on that board over the years.
