140 active rigs this morning, and now, tonight, July 29, 2010, 142 active rigs in North Dakota. Another record.

    Hi! Thanks for the alert. I was out and about all day with our grandchildren.

    Truly amazing how fast the rig count has gone up.

    At 139 or thereabouts, state spokesman said it could go up another dozen.
