OAS Had A Great Day! A Look At Current Operating Picture

A new high the first full day of trading, closing near its high for the day at $15.96, up $1.08, 7.26%.  I am impressed.

Comments:
  • Bull Butte and Squires are in the Rough Rider area of BEXP, and have reported some good 24-flowback wells.
  • I've not been impressed with Cottonwood wells
  • Alger wells are generally good to very good

  2. I'd also like to thank you for posting this info.

Can you tell me how you determined there was a Rig On Site? Was it because you visited the site or was the info available from NDIC?

The S-1 stated they would have two rigs running in the West Williston and two rigs in the East Nesson - that must be them. Also stated that they would like to add three more rigs later in 2010, but I guess we aren't there yet.

    Thanks again

  3. When you go to the NDIC home page, scroll down to GIS Map Server, and then locate the township/sections you are interested in. Those with rigs-on-site will have a large green rig.

I am only able to visit North Dakota (my home state) once or twice a year so in this case I did not see the rigs in person; I got the information from the NDIC web site as noted above.

Thank you for stopping by. You all did well who bought OAS at opening on Friday morning. Congrats.

  4. I'm sorry. The quickest way to find where the active rigs are is to go to the NDIC home page, and on the left sidebar click on "Active Drilling Rigs," the fourth choice down. Then simply use the "search" function to find the operator you are interested in.
