    On August 16, 2010: potash exploratory permit issued. First permit in over three decades. Do you have link for "first potash permit today 11-1-2010"?

    any news about legacy oil and gas company. is there any wells that they have drilled in dahlen township hit oil?

    According to North Dakota govt site, the only "Dahlen Township" is in Nelson County on the far east side of the state. Legacy Oil and Gas recently acquired mineral rights in north-central North Dakota (Bottineau County) where they are targeting the Spearfish formation. Legacy has six file numbers / permits which were all granted in the past month or so, and all are on the confidential list. But you are correct; they will drill these Spearfish wells fast.
