4-1 stock split: Cybersecurity and AI-infrastructure company CrowdStrike announced a 4-for-1 stock split. The split will take the form of a stock dividend, meaning every stockholder of record at the close of business on June 25, 2026. All things being equal, this should bring trading price down to $175 or thereabouts. However, "all things are generally not equal" when it comes to trading after a stock split.

I can buy shares in "slices" but I don't want to do that. I can afford $200-shares; I can't afford $700-shares. Yes, I know. It doesn't make sense.
