See this post, "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" -- February 5, 2020.

Among the many wells at that post, these wells on an eleven (11)-well pad:

CLR Tallahassee Wells Are Updated -- January 22, 2022

The CLR Tallahassee wells in Baker oil field south of Williston, across the river, near the Indian Hill oil field, are now being drilled/completed. The older Tallahassee wells were all taken off line 9/21 and remain off line as of 11/21. The newer Tallahassee wells are now showing minimal production (more accurately, "runs") as of 11/21.

The CLR Tallahassee wells are tracked here and have been updated.

For so few rigs drilling in the Bakken, it is amazing how many wells are being drilled, how fast things are moving with so few wells.

Twenty years from now, "they're" going to be saying, "we really underestimated the Bakken."

Hess Will Report Four Nice BB-State Wells In Blue Buttes -- January 22, 2022

Back in August, 2021, we noted that these wells were being drilled by Hess. Now we're starting to see some production numbers (actually, "runs" to be correct / more specific).

The wells:

These wells are still on confidential status. Look at the graphic. Where are the horizontals going to run? Here's the graphic, what do you think? To the east? To the northwest? To the southwest?

Some might think they might squeeze these wells into the stand-up 1280-acre drilling unit, but look at all that "white space" to the east (right). That's the most likely direction the horizontals will run.

Is there any way to "confirm" this?

Zoom in:

Yup. Check status of #18104, and #35448.

Note: both wells were taken off line for a month or so to coincide with neighboring wells being completed.

But isn't this interesting; the wells are on the confidential list, but they went on confidential list recently. The permits, the drilling history, everything but frack data and production data is available at the file reports, and yes, the horizontals will run east, into sections 15 / 16-151-95 as noted in the second graphic.

Like The Surging Price Of Gasoline, The White House Is "Monitoring The Situation" -- January 22, 2022

This is actually quite clever how the Russians are handling this situation. Get a "turncoat" in the Ukrainian government to declare himself the legitimate leader of the Ukraine-Russians; ask for outside help; and, the rest will be history.

But the good news, like their strategy for high gasoline prices, supply chain choke points, high inflation, the congestion at the west coast ports, the White House is monitoring the situation

I'm sure the Ukrainians are relieved to know that President Biden has their back, as he said in his recent press conference. I wonder what the White House definition of a "minor incursion" is.

Daughter wells. The above well would have been taken off line while the following wells were completed:

Look how incredible, especially #32888, these wells are. We've been told that daughter wells are not as good as parent wells. Okay.

Hunch: twenty years from now "they're" going to say, "we under-estimated the Bakken." LOL.

Look at the initial production for #32888 back in 2017:
