  1. Thank you for the data, confirms first year production decline rate of ~75%. Understand that there is a lot of DUCs that are waiting to be completed, but rig count is at historic lows. Tough times for Bakken with the DAPL being shut down, will cost $5-10 a barrel to get the Bakken oil to refinery, raising the breakeven cost to produce oil. Will take 700-800 rail tanker per day to move 500,000 bbls/day.

As per EIA data, ~8,000,000 barrels per day were being produced before the COVED problem. I'm guessing that average decline will be about 100,000 per week until the price is in the mid $50 per barrel. The only folks that will be making $$$s now are the lawyers handling the present and future bankruptcies.

    1. Yes, I think it will be fascinating to watch. A lot of moving parts.

    2. Actually the decline rate is trending toward 100% month-over-month, May production vs April production, going from "whatever" to zero bbls of production.

I've looked at May, 2020, production for hundreds of wells and almost every well, it seems, was taken off line in May, 2020. I think upwards of 80% of all wells I looked at were taken off line in May, 2020.
