Williston Area Jobless Rate: Unemployment Rate is 0.8%

Lowest in the nation; perhaps the lowest in North Dakota ever.

If there are 30,000 people in the Williston area, 0.8% means 240 folks in the Williston area are looking for a job but cannot find one.

It is a % of the labor force.

    248 unemployed
    29,933 working
    30,191 labor force

Only slightly more working than in Ward Co.
    Scroll down for list.

    1. Yes, I guess I subconsciously thought it was the "labor" force. There are more than 240 elementary students in Williams County and I know they aren't working. So, subconsciously I must have thought 30,000 "labor force."

But my 30,000 was just a wild ass guess. Kind of scary how "accurate" it was, but it was just a WAG. Hmmmm. I've been at this way too long.
