WTI Surges 5% -- March 4, 2021

Lots of reasons, but perhaps the rocket attack on Saudi is the big one. Just saying.

Warren Buffett: CVX soaring; up 3%; hits 52-week high. Pays 5%.

CLR: hits 52-week high.

  1. Merck...going the other direction since it was announced. Even went down after joining J & J in the Covid efforts. So many story lines, but long term it will prove itself to be a good investment....unless somehow the world stops wanting Pharma products.

For Buffett, win some, lose some, but always with dividends.

    1. Can't disagree, but has anyone really been paying attention to Berkshire Hathaway's annual return (share price)?

Buffett's golden years were 1977 - 1997 but even that run was "downward"in the 1980s. But after 2000, and continuing through last year, the numbers are much more dismal.

On the other hand, that graph reflects share price, and not value of the underlying company.
