On a side note I use Firefox for the blog, but lately I've been using Safari. I am completely blown away, by the "feel" of Safari when using the blogger app. Except for a couple of peculiarities noted on Safari I now prefer the latter, and not Firefox. I never thought I would say that.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with this, but one wonders. Google (through Gemini) and Apple have "gotten a lot closer together" recently and the "blogger app" has been owned by Google since 2003. That's 22 years ago. I remember starting out on the "blogger app" before it was owned by Google. I was surprised to find the answer to my question which blogger app has larger market share? It's not even close: WordPress accounts for upwards for 50% of blogger content. Google's blogger app? One percent. I've tried WordPress in the past and could go back to it if I wanted but I have no such desire. The Google blogger app is entirely free and can be monetized; WordPress, to be ad-free, one must pay a subscription price. With WordPress one has complete control on how one wants to monetize one's website.
