USA Rare Earth CEO interview on CNBC -- must-watch. I particularly enjoyed how "Department of War" rolled off her tongue.

70% of rare earth production comes out of China.

30% comes out of free market, outside of China.

The question is to what extent that 30% meets the needs of the free market.  

Trump hosting Australian premier at White House today. Only one item on the agenda: rare earth metals. 

Timing is everything: announced today -- China's GDP growth has plummeted -- barely above the GDP growth of the US.
