Has Haystack Butte Been Unitized? February 22, 2025

First time I noticed this was last week, wells with an "HBU" designation in Haystack Butte oil field, McKenzie County. According to the NDIC well search page, these are the only wells in Haystack Butte oil field with the "HBU" designation. I assume "HBU" means "Haystack Butte Unitized." 

These are the first permits in Haystack Butte oil field this year. Going back to last year (2024), none of the Haystack Butte permits in 2024 had the "HBU" designation.  These are the nine "HBU" wells in Haystack Butte, all on confidential list.

Perhaps a reader knows whether Haystack Butte has been unitized.
