As expected, DOJ anti-trust suit against Apple announced. AAPL falls about $5 / share.n [Later: mid-day trading, AAPL plummets, down $6 / share.] I am heavily over-weighted in Apple. I have a rolling 30-year investment horizon. This speaks volumes: the US government says Apple has a monopoly on smart phones. LOL. Let's see where this goes. We'll know in four to five ... years.
I agree completely with the DOJ. Apple (AAPL) would have done so much better these past several years if they would have played the game like Lego has played the game.
The US government wants to make the Apple smart phone even better, and accessible to even more folks.
