What's missing? Why are US consumers so resilient? I argue that it is has to do with America's free market capitalism.

1.9 / 2.4 =  79.2%. I don't know to what extent house sales, mortgages, rental payments contribute to "consumer spending." My hunch: house sales / mortgages and rental. payments were pretty flat q/q.
