Bakken Development -- A Random Observation -- November 19, 2023

Going back in. For the past year or so, a definite trend in the Bakken: 

• operators are going back into locations where a single old Bakken well drilled back during the boom, 2007 - 2010, is still producing, albeit not much, but holding the lease by production, and 
• now, the operators are going back in and putting in a multi-well pad. I could show a dozen such examples, but it gets tedious, so I will leave it at that for now. 

But for mom-and-pop mineral owners who have a singleton with little production, hang in there.
