For the archives. This is most fascinating. I've thought about it often. What does happen if "this renewable thing" doesn't pan out? China is not waiting to find out. China continues to set records for importing coal. Also, it's an old story but China is building a lot of new coal plants to generate electricity ... to charge all those Apple iPhones.
