Link here

The NDIC hearing dockets are tracked here.

The usual disclaimer applies. As usual this is done very quickly and using shorthand for my benefit. There will be factual and typographical errors on this page. Do not quote me on any of this. It's for my personal use to help me better understand the Bakken. Do not read it. If you do happen to read it, do not make any investment, financial, job, relationship, or travel plans based on anything you read here or think you may have read here. If this stuff is important to you, and I doubt that it is, but if it is, go to the source.

  1. What is difference between "pooling" and "commingling" I think I know but would rather have you go out on that limb. Smile face

    1. Two completely different, unrelated "things."

      Pooling: an administrative, regulatory action to get all the actions completed with regard to mineral holders to have the well that will soon be drilled (or is being drilled) sorted out with regard to royalties to be paid.

      Commingling: where the operator combines all the liquids or vapors from more than one well into one delivery point. Without commingling, the product from each well needs to be kept separate from the product from all other wells. If commingling is allowed, once the product is brought to the surface and analyzed, it can be commingled with product from other wells.

  2. Interesting.... seeking to return a 2,560 spacing back into two 1,280's. Wonder why... 29567, MRO, Killdeer-Bakken;

    1. Yes, I saw that, also. I'll come back to it. Will ask if any readers might have a possible explanation.

    1. I sometimes forget things I shouldn't and I certainly can't explain them well, but hopefully, you got a pretty good idea.
