Holly S**T, I don't think I've ever seen a well produce 68,000 bbls of water in a month...that's 150 truckloads a month (I cannot prove it, but there's no way they're trucking it). That thing is a water well. 68 bbl of water per bbl of oil...at a $1.50 per bbl of storage, disposal would be nearly $100/bbl in operating costs. That's not an oil well, that's a water well.

DeleteMost of the water is pipelined to an injection well. I know they were having quite a few problems with the down hole pumps on this well. I think that’s a fairly big reason why it was so sporadic. I know at one time a few years ago there was a workover rig on this well for over a month.
