Thank you. This is the reason a lot of second-grade boys have a crush on their second-grade teacher. I certainly did. My second-grade teacher Ms Priebe before she married mid-year. I was devastated. LOL.
For me it was my first grade teacher, Miss Allen.... In first grade, there were no busses yet, and after much trials trying to get me to school, my folks sent me to live with my grandparents in town for the winter. Well, Miss Allen was staying 2 houses down from there, so on May Day I had Grandma help me fix up a May basket, and I walked over and gave it to her. I got a kiss for my efforts, and walked home on cloud 9!!

DeleteWe had Priebes up at Noonan.... in high school there was a Ms. Priebe, (Marlys) she taught business courses.... so your post drew some memories....
