The Monster Wells MRO Reported Today -- Answering The Call To Drill, Drill, Drill -- January 25, 2022

Monster wells:

• Monster wells are tracked here. Not updated in a long, long time.
  
• Third generation monster wells are tracked here. Not updated in a long, long time.
  
• I have generally quit updating or adding wells to the monster lists.
• I have a tag for wells that generate 50K bbls of crude oil in one month; I no longer tag such wells; it became overwhelming.
• I will, in general, now only add a monster well if its initial production is over 100,000 bbls in one month. There will be exceptions.
  
• I will start a new tag, 100,000 bbls crude oil in one month.
• Twenty years from now we will say "we under-estimated the Bakken."
  

There's something interesting about these wells. If I remember, and have time, I will expand on them.
