Here in Texas working this week, temp job making some fun $$$s for vacations. Here in a hotel in Plano off PGBT, rain, wind, hail and lost power for a minute or 2. If this happened in January, could have been an ice/snow event and no power for days due to ERCOT. :-
Heading home Friday, should be clear weather for DAL and BWI airports with no big delays. :-)
I bet I drove right by "your" hotel in Plano when I took our granddaughter to her soccer game the other night at UT-Dallas. Speaking of which, I don't think she broke a sweat, and I never saw her running except on one or two occasions as her team went on to win 5 - 0.
For those outside the area: PGBT = President George Bush Tollway -- one of the cleverest tollways ever designed. Cuts diagonally through highest growth area in Texas. I think some company in Spain owns it. I don't know. But it's a great thoroughfare.
