Qualcomm: Investor's Business Daily -- December 18, 2020

Link here

A must-read article, interrupted by a pop-up ad that is really, really irritating and takes a couple of clicks to get rid of it. LOL.

This is probably one of the most comprehensive articles I've seen on QCOM in quite some time. Amazingly, the article does not report the most important piece of news regarding QCOM that's been announced in the past ten days.

Data points:

  • P/E; 33
  • pays: 1.75%
  • 52-week range: $58 - $161
  • recent: $146
  • one-year target: $162
  • next dividend:
    • record date: December 3, 2020
    • payment date: December 17, 2020
    • dividend last increased: June, 2020

Chinese Flu Watch

Top five? Arizona enters the list at #5. Link here

  • North Dakota at #3.
  • Rhode Island drops to #2 and Tennessee moves to #1, but it was the entry of Arizona that was most notable.
  • By the way, across the USA, the "four corners" area is the worse area for Covid-19 right now.

And, we now have a new sight to follow. Link here. I will add this link to the post where I track Chinese flu.

First graph at the link:

  • it only shows six countries upon opening;
  • be sure to "widen" the window to see the legend on the left side of the graph
  • that legend will allow you to add/remove countries
  • inexplicably, the most interesting country to follow right now, SWEDEN, was not on the opening graph, but you can easily add it; it's the very first country on the legend that is next to be added
  • Sweden, incredibly is now almoast "as bad" as the US -- maybe that's why Sweden was not on the opening graphic; this wasn't supposed to happen;
  • note Japan:you still think the 202One Olympics will go on as planned next summer? LOL.
  • other countries of interest (you have to add these):
    • Italy
    • Slovakia: Jim Cramer, two days ago, said Slovakia was doing "great"; wow, was he wrong;

PSA: How To Fix An OXO Pop-Up Storage Container

There were two videos that helped. The first one was okay but not quite perfect. The second one I found was perfect. It is absolutely amazing how "fragile" this mechanism is. It's amazing they work at all. It makes me wonder if I ever want to buy another OXO pop-up storage container.
