  1. I appreciate you highlighting the Three Forks wells. Of course every oil company has their own zone designations.... This is the most different designations I have seen in one place. Don't understand some of them... The only way to figure it all out is to go to the NDIC and research each well. Maybe on a below zero evening, I will try to figure out what some of these designations stand for, or mean. LOL

    1. 1. Yes, I've recently started highlighting (putting in bold) Three Forks wells (various benches) to show that operators are increasing their focus on the Three Forks.

      2. I often go to the well files to better understand the Bakken/Three Forks, because it is confusing. When you read the well files one sees how difficult it can be to figure out where the wellbore might be. I guess that's why the geologists are given the big bucks.
