Energy Transfer Excited About Two Projects -- One In The Bakken -- Motley Fool; In Other Notes, New Record Set -- September 2, 2019

Link here. Neither is new but a reminder how big the Bakken expansion project is.  Energy Transfer CFO highlighted two projects that the company is very excited about:
  • the joint venture with Shell to develop the Lake Charles LNG export facility; and, 
  • market interest from shippers to consider expanding the Bakken DAPL pipeline from 0.570 million bopd to as much as 1.1 million bopd
Onshore record: Alaska well sets onshore record, reported over at Rigzone. Data points:
  • the international, supermajor, oil and gas producer was not identified
  • the record: the longest-reach on-shore well
  • TD = 32,468 feet (compare with standard lateral of 20,000 feet in the Bakken; and an extended long lateral in the Bakken at 24,000 feet)
  • reported by Houston-based technology startup Corva
  • Corva provided real-time drilling and completion analytics during the operation
  • in the National Petroleum Reserve of Alaska's North Slope
  • advanced technology apparently used to prevent drill string breaks that would require removing and replacing the entire string
Philadelphia refiner: the one that recently declared bankruptcy is looking for a buyer. Nothing else to be reported.
