You Had To Be There

From a sundry report for #31733:

At the time of putting the Lost Bridge 11H on production, the generator would not start to power up the flare pit igniter. We had to manually ignite the 12' flare with a flare gun. The flar overshot and landed in grass off location starting a grass fire. Crews put out immediately burning an area about 10' by 20'.

I'm surprised we did not see this is The Dickinson Press. If it was there, I missed it.
