Update On BakkenLink -- 39-MIle Pipeline From Watford City Area To Tioga/Hess Area -- January 14, 2015

The Dickinson Press is reporting that "open comment period" has commenced for this 39-mile pipeline under the river/lake that will connect Johnson Corner (near Watford City) with Beaver Lodge (near Tioga/Hess).

I may be wrong on this, but this is my understanding of the BakkenLink:

• an Enbridge pipeline that would extend from Tioga/Hess under the river to Johnson Corner (Watford City) and then south to Fryburg (Dickinson area)
• the portion under the river/lake would set a record of depth/distance of a horizontal/directional pipeline
• the "open period comment" referenced in this press release refers to that portion of the BakkenLink that will go under the river/lake
