  • Comments: the Petro-Sentinel permit is the third one for this company in North Dakota, and the second one in as many days

    1. It is what it is. I wouldn't even worry about it. It will be interesting to watch. I think EOG has quit the Bakken for the time being. That's five rigs right there. Or more.

      On another note, look at the IPs of those producing wells that were completed and reported today; that list is simply incredible. No where are they getting those kinds of wells onshore in the US, and Bakken wells are 90% (or more) oil -- again, nothing else like it elsewhere onshore, except some spots in the Eagle Ford (and the Permian, I suppose).
