Wells coming off confidential list Friday: none? Wells come off the confidential list at the 6-month mark. Six months ago, there was no February 29, 30, or 31. So, no wells coming off the confidential list August 29, 30, or 31, it appears. The March first wells come off the confidential list September first. Maybe. Don't quote me on this.

Thirteen (13) permits --
  • Operators: Hess (5), Oasis (4), Enduro (2) MBI (2)
Fields: Alger (Mountrail), Missouri Ridge (Williams), Beaver Lodge (Williams), Rocky Ridge (Slope), Newburg (Bottineau)
  • Comments: see comment below -- the MBI permits are for wells that will test the Tyler but not be producers.

  1. Halcon put 18 wells online in 2nd quarter (all fort berthold)... all of them exceeded the 801K EUR type curve ... all of their wells now consistently IP over 2000 with the recent wells all IP's over 2500 .... amazing ... Mike

    1. This is incredible, isn't it? I told my dad who loves to follow the market to watch HK and CLR (with the split announcement).

  2. I don't know if you paid much attention to the permit list on Thursday, but MBI permitted two wells. These wells are not planned to be producers, but to core and log the Tyler formation.

    1. Thank you. I must be slipping. I forgot to post the new permits, unless I did that elsewhere. Regardless, they are posted now, and I noted your information about the Tyler well permits up in the body of the post. Thank you.
