A Couple Of EOG Wells "In Flux" With Name Changes, Status; Nothing Significant In Big Scheme Of Things; Will Be Sorted Out Over Time

See anything unusual? I put the data points that surprised me in red/bold.

1. PNC = permit canceled
2. This well produced 30,300 bbls of oil in first month of production. Not likely to be canceled.

Looking at the file report:

1. The permit, dated 4/30/13, was originally for a well with this name: Wayzetta 33-2829H.
2.  6/20/13: EOG requests the permit (Wayzeta 33-2829H) be canceled.  Received by NDIC 6/24/13.
3.  6/24/13: EOG requests name change to Wayzetta 33-2829HX. Received by NDIC 6/24/13.
4. 6/25/13: EOG requests well name change to Wayzetta 33-2829HC. Received by NDIC 6/28/13.
5. 12/12/3: EOG request 6-month confidentiality of Wayzetta 33-2829HC. Received by NDIC 12/19/13.
6. 2/4/14: EOG sundry form says production methods changed from flowing to ESP on January 11, 2014; well returned to sales on January 13, 2014. Received by NDIC on February 6, 2014. (Note: sundry form showed name of well as Wayzetta 33-2829H -- obviously a typographical error, missing the terminal "C.")

Comment: with last production data for month of December, 2013, on the scout ticket, most likely this well is not "PNC" but "CONF" and should come off the confidential list on/about June, 2014, and we might not see production data until August or September, 2014.

The well is not on the NDIC confidential list.
