The Williston Wire

Groundbreaking for new housing development, Riverpointe Crossing, located north of 42nd Street East and University Avenue, Williston: 54 duplexes, 3 single family homes.

North Dakota Housing Finance Agency will provide $20 million for 18 projects across the state, including two in Williston: $3 million, Williston State College Housing Phase II; and, $3 million to Renaissance on Main Street.

Oil and gas jobs in the US have grown 40% since 2007.

WAWS is now providing high-quality drinking water to Ray, Tioga, and Stanley. [Comment: I'm glad it's high quality. Otherwise we would be hearing a lot of complaints. To the best of my knowledge, independent water supplies have not provided high-quality drinking water to any municipality but I could be mistaken.] In addition to these three communities, Wildrose and Crosby were previously connected; Fortuna, Noonan, Columbus, and 200 to 250 rural users will soon be connected. [Comment: Even after the oil industry leaves  75 to 150 years from now, the water will still be flowing.]

A new crew camp opens near Fairview. [Comment: the best pizza in the world can be had at the Powder Keg in Fairview.]
