the segment was not expected to be centered on the Bakken. Don might be

An unrelated note: National Weather Service -- update for Boston's winter storm of the century. Earlier I thought I had misheard, but I guess I had not: for Boston, this could be one of Boston's top five winter storms and could dump as much as 3 feet on Boston. Snow is start falling in the general area this afternoon, but that's probably higher elevations farther west.
Be sure you have enough political incorrect gasoline to run your political incorrect snow blower. Does Massachusetts already have a steep carbon tax on such things that do awful damage to mother nature. If not they should. Come on Massachusetts lead the way.
ReplyDeleteFYI. Gov Dalrymple is holding news conf today re diesel refinery. Hopefully this will get done soon and ND federal pols help out too.
ReplyDeleteApparently there wasn't any opposition to the refineries during the open public comments. I guess the Sierra Club and their fellow travelers didn't even register their opposition. The only comment by the state director of the Sierra Club was there are so many things to address in North Dakota they have to limit their focus to be effective. Looks like the refineries will get approval fairly easy.
ReplyDeleteVery good news for addressing the shortage of diesel in the Upper Midwest and it a good stepping stone for expansion if demand for petroleum products increase in the future. Again North Dakota leading the way with common sense practical solutions. What a State!
Maybe the Sierra Club was busy working on a draft paper regarding wind turbines killing bald eagles.
DeleteMaybe so but they will have to be dragged to it by the Audubon Society. The Sierra Club has no principles they are first and foremost against private economic development. Karl Marx is their guiding light.
