New Medical Complex In Williston; Mercy Hospital in Williston May Be Fastest Growing Hospital In the Nation; HAL Donates $25,000

These two stories were in the Williston Wireline.

First:
A Bismarck-based group, Rhavon, LLC, is building Rhavon Medical Park along the bypass on the west side of the city. On almost 13 acres of property, the main facility will be a 30,000-square-foot 3-story building with urgent care clinic and other unspecified specialty care. This story is a bit "confusing" to me in that the building has been there for quite some time, under construction, and it has long been known that it was going to be a medical facility. Maybe that was all "rumor" and now the "i"s have been dotted, and the "t"s crossed, making it official. Regardless, this will be a new outpatient medical facility across the bypass from Mercy Medical Center.
Second:  And speaking of Mercy Medical Center, a spokesperson said this hospital may be the fastest growing hospital in the nation. The Wireline also noted that Halliburton recently donated $25,000 to the hospital.

  1. I believe the "building has been there a long time" refers to the Gunderson building (metal building) used to store earth moving equipment. That will be removed and replaced with the new Medical comlpex. I heard that the entire stretch of by-pass frontage will be commercial and include a frontage road from the new 2-85 entrance to the Sand Creek Town Center in the soon to be built 35th ave wests instersection and curve all the way around to the 11th street intersection of 2-85.

    1. Thank you. There was a building under construction, almost completed, last autumn, north of Herman Oil that was going to be a medical building, also. It was a brick, three or four floors, vaguely recall that it was three floors.

  2. Bruce, the 3 story medical building to the NORTH of Herman Oil is the new Trinity Clinic. The new 3 story Rhavon medical complex will be to the SOUTH of Herman Oil where Gunderson excavating used to be. Interesting to see how the 11th street intersection is becoming all medical facilities.

    1. Wow, thank you for sorting that out for me. I was a bit confused. When I was last in Williston, I had not heard of the possibility of yet another medical facility; in fact, "we" were unsure whether the Trinity Clinic was ever going to get finished/occupied.

To hear that there is yet another medical facility going up, that is quite impressive to say the least. Thank you for sorting that out for me and taking time to comment.
