Just a note to let you know that OXY had an open house yesterday (6-26-12) in Dickinson. What a state of the art building and the control room looks like somthing you would see at NASA. They are able to monitor their wells from this site with the ability to shut them down, restart, monitor flow and also live streaming pictures of the sites. Impressive to say the least
Very interesting. Yes, I had heard that they can control the pumps from a central operations building, but I doubt most folks know that. Thank you for taking time to comment. Amazing how much is happening in North Dakota right now.
