  1. I would have thought to see comments on this.

What does this mean for Slope County, Bruce?

    1. The numbers speak for themselves:

In 2012: no permits have yet been for any wells in Slope County.

In 2011: one permit was issued for Slope County (the Silver Oak, Red River well)

In 2010: two permits were issued for Slope County, both Continental Resource, file #19507 and #19862.

The operators have their hands full getting to all their leases in the Bakken. I see some marginal interest in Slope County in the near term, but nothing in the near term.
