Updated Stark County Wells

I apologize for minimal posting this morning. I had a miserable time at my usual haunt. Someone must have been downloading huge files and disrupting/slowing the wi-fi.

I was able to update a few wells in Stark County at this posting.

    1. Fortunately the president killed Keystone XL 1.0 and 2.0.

There simply are not enough pipefitters, welders, back-hoe operators, etc., in the US to service the Keystone, the Bakken, the Utica, the Marcellus.

"We've" been pushing too many students into college who should not be there. We should have pushed them into welding (both men and women).

  2. So what are the latest analysis of what the wells south of Dickinson to Hettinger are expected to produce? I was told they have a number of wells from New England to Hettinger that have come up dry which may slow interest? Don't know if that is true, but i would be interested in knowing where we are headed?

    1. I don't have any inside information, but my hunch is that "they" will try several formations, but so far, it does look a bit bleak.

  3. What is the latest on the Tyler exploratory wells due to start drilling last December? If memory serves me correct i thought the Dickinson press article said something like 40 more were expected after the first of the year. Will it live up to the promise it has? The TOC content is off the charts so i am really curious to see what comes out of the ground if anything. Any comments welcome.

    1. Yes, I, too, am hoping to hear something or see something.

I was hoping when Chesapeake said they were coming back into the Williston Basin that they would be targeting the Tyler. My hunch is that Whiting will be the first to test in any meaningful way.
