Jon Stewart -- Ron Paul -- Iowa Straw Poll -- Debates -- Not A Bakken Story

No matter who you like/don't like, and even if you don't like Jon Stewart, this really is a great segment.

It has nothing to do with thte Bakken but explains why I never watch the four major networks any more for news.

  1. Fox news wasn't any better than the major networks. They didn't mention Ron Paul at all.

  2. That's why I said I don't watch the four major networks any more: NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX.

In fact, FOX morning news show, what I remember of it, was the worst of the lot; full of fluff. ION, TNT, and ESPN are all I watch.

I greatly admire Mr. Paul's commitment to his ideals...Corporate Cash can't buy the man...while I'm not on board with all of his views, I think he's the most honest candidate out there for the GOP...which frightens the right wing segment of that party....He's the crazy Uncle they want to lock in the basement.

  4. Yes, after I saw him in the debate, I was quite impressed. Until then, all I really knew about him was what mainstream media said about him. I didn't watch much of the debates, but enough to be impressed by Ron Paul.

  5. Thanks for sharing that link. Very good. We started following Mr. Paul back in 2008. He is the only one that doesn't want us meddling in foreign countries. His convictions don't change. He's got my vote.

  6. I think he would make a very interesting president. My hunch is that folks would be pleasantly surprised.
