EOG Converting Shell Creek 1-01 to Salt Water Disposal

From the March 30, 2011, daily activity report:

• 17058, convert to salt water disposal, EOG, Shell Creek 1-01

Back in 2008, EOG was testing different formations in the prolific Parshall oil field. The primary zone of interest was the Interlake, a couple thousand feet deeper than the Bakken/Three Forks.

Ultimately it was determined to be a "dry" well. It had been spudded 2/08; it was converted to salt water disposal 2/11.
