As We Move Closer to Discussion of Windfall Profits Tax ...

... I don't know what the compensation package is for the CEO of XOM, but I'm sure someone will tell me.

But I do know the following, if the media reports are accurate:

• Goldman CEO 2010 compensation package rises to $14 million. Goldman, by the way, received $13 billion in bailout money.
• Ford CEO gets $26 million pay package in 2010; up 48 percent from 2009; no bailout money
• Meanwhile, pay packages for 25 executives of corporations bailed out by federal government were just approved, and it appears, on average, the executives will be reaping $10 million pay packages,  +/- $5 million  (GM, Chrysler, AIG, Ally [formerly financial arm of GM])

All stories were published the same day, April 2, 2011 -- a day after April Fool's Day
