Montana Politics and Fossil Fuel Development Going Forward
I think this is an example of the tide turning a bit with regard to folks understanding the link between jobs and energy development. The Montana legislature sees a busy session ahead regarding fossil fuel development in the state.
I've seen the same and agree. The good news is that other states have huge budget deficits and it's very possible these states could look to the oil industry to resolve some of those gaps. On the other hand these states may use lower tax rates to encourage increased oil exploration and production.
