I have a question, my family and i have 8 mineral rights in ambrose field on three forks and we have been trying for two years now to get an oil well. We have gone through 2 companies and still waiting on the second one to do something. Why is it taking so long? Could it be because of the weather? We live in arizona so we really have no idea what's going on there.
For being a small field, Ambrose is pretty active, but it appears most of the permits in Ambrose oil field are held by Baytex; some by SM and Samson Resources. I think Baytex has only two rigs. There is so much work to be done in the Bakken/Three Forks that it will take time to get to everything.
You are in good company; there are many, many folks who are still waiting for that first well.
