It's really amazing how our 250th birthday happened to fall on a Saturday -- Friday is the federal holiday. Sunday we will rest / recover from our amazing birthday party and then hunker down and get back to work on Monday.
It would have been even better had the 4th fallen on a Friday and we would have had a four-day weekend as the government told us to "shut 'er down" on Thursday. Trump did what he could but not declaring Thursday and Friday will be seen as a missed opportunity.
Seriously, did anyone do anything critical for the nation two days ago that we couldn't have shut 'er down then?
