US oil exports just SMASHED a RECORD 6.4 million bbls EVERY SINGLE DAY during President Trump's Iran blockage. The USE also just left OPEC, potentially opening up EVEN MORE oil supply.

Day 1, May 4, 2026: "Project Freedom." 

Day 65, May 3, 2026: Operation Epic Fury. Trump says “no” to Iran’s plan. Fast boats are rewewing attacks on tankers in Gulf. If this continues, Trump says he might strike Iran again. Last day of Operation Epic Fury (?). US crude oil exports surged to a record 5.2 million bpd in April. Corpus Christi, Texas, one of the largest oil export terminals in the world, had the busiest first quarter in its history.

One year ago: 3.883 million bpd, April 2025. That's a 34% increase year-over-year. This will certainly help with America's balance of payments. MAGA.

To the extended family. Tomorrow, unless "something" changes, I will be putting a fair amount of new cash into the market, all large cap. I have one of three choices, or a mix of all three:

  • AMZN; and/or,
  • AAPL; and/or,
  • a Schwab ETF: either SCHB or SCHG.
Later:
I had strongly considered adding to my position in BRKB but still no dividend despite huge cash horde, but worse, meaningless stock buybacks, makes it problematic. It violates my number one rule with regard to investing, the lack of a dividend. Lack of serious buybacks suggests the directors still feel BRKB is overpriced. That all suggests I still have time; there is no hurry to buy BRKB.

Oracle remains in the mix. I could go “all in” with the portfolio’s May dividends. Yes, Oracle pays a dividend. I will go "all in" with Oracle with the portfolio's May dividends.
 
This a.m. I bought equal dollar amounts of AMZN, AAPL, and SCHB.

    Iran: Trump is getting high marks for this move. Trump is putting together an international effort to open the Hormuz. Iran has two choices. Negotiate seriously or sic the IRGC fast boats on ships trying to transit the strait. Trump has declared end of hostilities. Now he waits to see what Iran does. If Iran attacks and the US responds, the 60-day War Powers Act clock starts again.
