Computer use:
- day time: 90% of time while I’m on the computer — I use it to blog. That’s my life;
- night time: 90% of time while I’m on the computer — I use it to surf.
During the day, I work. I use a laptop.
During the night, I play. I use a tablet.
It took awhile to parse Nicole’s review above. What was she comparing? Finally I figured it out.
Nicole was comparing a laptop with a tablet FOR WORK. Once one understands that, the decision is easy.
If this is all about work, there is only one choice: the laptop.
For me:
- I work during the day: the laptop;
- I play during the night: the tablet.
To work one needs a laptop.
Nicole was using a tablet to work. That requires a keyboard and a trackpad / mouse.
[The fact she even mentions a mouse suggests she is far behind the times but she had to mention the mouse for reasons we will discuss below.]
